Thanks for contacting us. We appreciate your business.
How do you work?
We buy units directly from dealers and fire departments.
You send us pictures and specifications on the vehicle you
have for sale, and we make you an offer on the vehicle. If
you accept the offer, we send you a deposit and pay the balance
by bank check when we receive the vehicle.
What’s the difference between Command Fire
Apparatus and any of the brokers?
Brokers are generally interested in finding a unit for buyers,
whether it’s your unit or any unit. They may have hundreds
of vehicles in their listings, and they don’t really
mind which the vehicle the customer buys, as long as they
buy one of them. They provide a good service to buyers, but
sellers generally find themselves as one of hundreds of units
at a time.
Our business plan is to find and purchase the best condition
late model vehicles and sell them to our customers. We don’t
plan to have the most units, we plan to have the best units.
If you are looking to actually have a firm sale on your vehicle,
we might be the company for you to work with. We’ll
give you a fair price to actually BUY your unit.
A broker told us our vehicle was worth much more
than you offered. Why should we sell it to you?
Estimates of a vehicles resale value are one of the most
confusing parts of the used apparatus business. Remember,
a broker makes a commission on the selling price, so they
always set a high price and hope it sells. Its not their unit,
so if it doesn’t sell, they loose nothing and tell you
to lower the price. Nothing lost on their part, except your
vehicle sits in your station, unsold, getting older, costing
insurance and maintenance, and not turning into the cash you
need.
We’ll offer you a fair dealer value and get you your
money when you need it.
OK, what do we need to do to sell you our vehicle?
