When the Dennis Township (NJ) Fire District recognized the critical need for their first ladder truck to enhance their emergency response capabilities, Deputy Fire Chief Bruce Knoll of the Dennis Volunteer Fire Company took the initiative to reach out to Command Fire Apparatus. Recognizing the importance of selecting the right apparatus to meet the specific needs of the township and fire company,
“Our experience with Command Fire far exceeded our expectations,” said Chief Knoll. “Since our initial contact in April of 2024, Jared was proactive in keeping in touch and guiding us through the entire process. He even helped us secure the financing needed to purchase the truck.”
The department considered purchasing new trucks but was deterred by the extensive lead times and costs. The Command Fire Apparatus team assisted in locating a quality used truck that met the department’s requirements, saving the township over $1.5 million.
“Jared’s dedication and understanding made the otherwise complex process feel seamless.”
Guided by the specific requirements provided by the department for the ladder truck, Jared was able to find the perfect match. In November of 2024, the department purchased a truck with a 75’ ladder and 500-gallon tank capacity.
“We are extremely pleased with the truck that was delivered to us. The quality of the vehicle and the exceptional service provided by Jared and Command Fire Apparatus truly made a difference,” said Chief Knoll.
